Help Us Improve Access to the BCG Vaccine for Travelling Families!
November 27th, 2024—– RESEARCH INVITATION —–
Are you a parent or guardian of a young child planning to travel overseas?
We invite you to participate in a research study exploring the accessibility of the Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) vaccine among Australian travellers. BCG vaccine is used to protect against Tuberculosis (TB).
Your input can help us identify barriers and enablers to accessing this important vaccine, and advocate for improved healthcare services. All answers are confidential and de-identified.
What is Involved?
- A 10-minute online survey with questions about your travel plans, knowledge of the BCG vaccine, and your experiences accessing it.
- You may also be invited for an optional interview to share more detailed insight.
Why Participate?
- Your responses will contribute to research aimed at improving access to the BCG vaccine for Australian families like yours.
- Help ensure better healthcare for children travelling to areas with high rates of TB.
